Owner/Lash & Tan Technician
Laura is the heart and soul behind Phazes Tanning & Beauty Salon, a business she proudly built and opened in Maple Ridge in 2014. For over 11 years, she has created lasting connections with clients and the community, always going above and beyond for everyone she meets.
Her goal has always been simple: to make every client feel gorgeous, no matter the service.
Whether it's a quick tan, a full beauty treatment, or just a friendly chat, Laura's dedication to her clients shines through in everything she does.

When she's not running the salon, you'll likely catch her balancing her super-mom life to her not-so baby girl anymore Zeniah.

Braid Specialist
Amanda is our amazing braider here at Phazes, bringing over 20 years of self-taught talent, creativity, and passion to every appointment. She's been with us since day one, and her energy, warmth, and one-of-a-kind style continue to light up the salon every time she walks through the door!
Whether she's in the salon or freelancing, Amanda is all about making her clients feel confident and cared for. She offers everything from classic French braids to intricate designs, fun pops of colour, and everything in between-perfect for all ages and any occasion. She also loves doing events and birthdays, adding that extra special touch to your day.
Amanda has a true gift for helping parents care for their little ones' crowns, specializing in protective styles that are not only gorgeous but also gentle and practical. Her braiding is as versatile as it is eye-catching, and she's always excited to create something fresh and unique, just for you. Hair stylist
Tanya is the heartwarming presence we're so lucky to have here at Phazes! Joining us in 2024, she brings over 39 years of experience to the salon, having previously owned her own shop in the heart of Maple Ridge. Her expertise and passion for the craft are evident in every client she works with, and we couldn't be happier to have her as part of the team.
Tanya is known for her infectious laugh and she has a gift for making everyone feel truly special and comfortable in her chair. Whether it's a precision cut, a fresh color, or a complete style transformation, Tanya approaches every service with creativity, care, and an incredible attention to detail.
She's not only a master of her craft but also a mentor and positive force in the salon. Her warmth and experience have made her an instant favorite with both clients and coworkers alike. We're beyond grateful to have her talent, kindness, and vibrant energy as part of the Phazes family.
Chantal
Hair Stylist
Chantal is our senior top stylist and has been part of the Phazes family since 2018 and in the industry for over 14 years.
Truly one of the pillars of our salon, known for her kindness, easygoing nature, and the infectious laugh you'll recognize the moment you hear it.
She's always booked and busy, but still manages to make time for the wonderful people who sit in her chair. Very versatile from long lush cuts, to nice and short she does it all with care, skill, and a genuine love for what she does.
More than just a stylist, Chantal is a great listener and loves sharing stories, making every appointment feel personal. We're so lucky to have her, and her clients will all tell you the same: she's simply the best.
Megan

Megan is a talented hairstylist who's been a valued team member at Phazes since graduating from Blanche Macdonald & in the game for 3 years.
She's your go-to for all things colour, from sun-kissed blondes and rich brunettes to vivid shades and colour corrections. Specializing in Bellami extensions, Megan creates seamless, natural-looking length for that perfect, long-haired dream.
With a creative, bubbly personality and a sense of humour, Megan is all about making your experience as enjoyable as it is transformative. Hair health and honesty is one of her top priorities. Her down-to-earth nature means you'll feel right at home.

Stella is a hairstylist with over 25 years of experience, and her passion for transforming hair is truly unmatched. Stiella has been with our family for 2 years now. Specializing in creating stunning blondes and providing beautiful, tailored transformations, she knows just how to make you feel like the best version of yourself. Stella is also the ultimate expert in creating glam hair for any occasion— whether it's for a wedding, graduation, or a special night out. Working closely with our makeup artist, Lauren, Stella has the ultimate glam team to give you the best experience for any event.
On top of her incredible skills, Stella is known for her soothing head massages that'll make every appointment feel like a mini spa experience. With over 30 years in the industry, Chris brings a wealth of experience, passion, and personality to Phazes Tanning & Beauty Salon. A former salon owner and an expert in her craft, she's been part of the Phazes family since 2020.
Chris is known for her precision cutting skills and love for short, sassy hairstyles that make a statement. She also has a high level of expertise in highlighting, blending her classic old-school techniques with a modern, on-trend touch. Her work is timeless, polished, and always tailored to each client's individual style.
Beyond her technical talent, Chris is a kind soul with a contagious laugh and a vibrant energy. She believes life should be approached with a good sense of humour, and you'll always leave her chair feeling lighter inside and out. Receptionist/Make-Up Artist
Lauren is Phazes smiley & skilled makeup artist who graduated from Blanche Macdonald in 2022 and has been building her stunning portfolio ever since. You might recognize her not only from her beautiful work but also as the friendly face greeting you at the front desk here at Phazes Tanning & Beauty Salon.
Lauren specializes in soft glam looks, with a passion for enhancing your natural beauty and making you feel like your absolute best self. Whether you're after a flawless bridal look, a bold smoky eye, or a relaxing glam experience, Lauren is here to make it happen and here to make you feel comfy. In her off time, she's instagramming & lashlifting from home.

Lisa has been a Hairstylist for 32 years & has been her own salon owner for 23 beautiful years. She has joined our team, and in that time, she's become so much more than just a hairstylist-she's a true part of the soul of our salon.
With a style all her own and a talent that's been shaped by years of experience, Lisa has built a loyal client base that loves her not just for her work, but for who she is.
She's kind, cool, and an incredible listener-someone who instantly makes you feel at home in her chair. Lisa's calm energy and genuine care show in everything she does.
She's been a close friend to many of us for years, and we feel so lucky to have her as part of the Phazes family. She takes men's cuts as well!

Tonya has been a dedicated hairstylist for 20 years and a valued part of the Phazes family since 2020. With a natural eye for detail and a passion for transformation, Tonya is your go-to for everything from curly hair care and men's cuts to bold colour changes that turn heads.
What truly sets Tonya apart is her caring, attentive nature and the time she takes to understand each client's vision. Her meticulous approach ensures every service is crafted with your best interest in mind. Always learning and evolving, Tonya is committed to staying ahead in the industry while staying deeply connected with the people in her chair.

Cassidy
Eyelash Technician
If you haven't met Cassidy yet, it's probably because she's in our back room lashing away like the pro she is! Certified since 2020, Cassidy joined the Phazes team in 2023, bringing her precision and passion for lash artistry with her.
Cassidy specializes in everything from classic and hybrid sets to volume and mega volume lashes. Putting love and care into each lash to make sure it's perfect for you. Natural lash health is her top priority, and she takes the time to consult with every client to create a customized lash set that fits your unique style and needs.
Her lash room is as cozy and beautiful as her personality, expect to be greeted with a friendly "Hi, babe!" and feel right at home. Once you're in her chair, you'll be so relaxed, & probably book your next lash nap before you even leave. Cassidy's goal is to make your eyes sparkle and leave you feeling absolutely gorgeous.
Zen
Future Stylist & Salon Princess
Meet Zeniyah, the tiniest member of the Phazes family and our very own “boss baby.” At almost two years old, she’s already stealing hearts with her big smile, bubbly energy, and love for hanging out at the salon. She’s known for lighting up the room the second she walks in, and the whole team can’t help but spoil her with cuddles and attention.
Zeniyah isn’t just loved by the staff our clients adore her too. From waves and giggles at the front desk to showing off her sweet personality, she’s become a little star of Phazes. Everyone agrees she’s the salon’s brightest sparkle, and she’s already claimed her role as the future salon queen.
For now, Zeniyah’s days are filled with giggles, snacks, and naps, but everyone knows she’s the next generation ready to keep Phazes shining bright. With all her sparkle and charm, it’s safe to say the salon is in very good hands for the future and until then, she’s more than happy being the cutest “employee” Phazes has ever had.
